Dancing in the curtains, hands ruffling heavy velvet as noses bump and flatten, submissive to our gaze. Feet shuffling softly to a gentle flowing rhythm as warm hands slide easily against sunkissed arms. Cheek to cheek we sway wrapped in crushed velvet and glimmering stars dancing in the curtains

Cuteness!!!!!! I like the "sunkissed arms" part. This poem has an innocent quality to it. And I like how you describe it as "dancing".
Wait ...you were in the curtains?
You guys are totally sketchy.
But I love you anyway.
WERE YOU IN MY STAGE CURTAINS?!?!?!!!????
MY PAC. MY COUCH. OUT OUT OUT.
I like to take naps on it... :)
just to clarify - WE WERE NOT IN ANY ACTUAL CURTAINS. That was a metaphor/figure of speech, not an actual event.
