Goodness, I looked on your blog and saw this whole slew of poems! You've been writing quietly all this time and I didn't notice! I thought these blogs were dead. So anyway, I've gone on a commenting spree.
I like this poem too, Kelsey. It's all nicey nice until the end, when it's like "now". Really foreboding, like... she's nice now, but what will happen later? Can she keep up this nicey nice life?
Thanks for all the comments, love. I really appreciate them! The girl is an echo of a little girl, maybe 1st or 2nd grader, whose life is simple and good at that moment. Dunno if I'll keep using her or not, but she's basically an innocent little girl.
