I know you
Once upon a time
When the world was perfect
We danced our dance
and knew each other's souls.
What happened to the world?
Immortality has never been this painful
As I watch the world pass me by.
I am lost in the past
Encased in glass
as you have followed perfection -
as I have found the lesser of two evils -
as we fall apart.
What happened to our world?
It was perfect
But then again,
who said perfection lasts?
